I remember the first time that someone said to me that the size and shape of a glass would change the way that its contents would smell - and therefore taste. I was an unbeliever, and I laughed long and hard. The joke was on me though, and not long afterwards I was to meet an Austrian fellow named Georg Riedel whose family company makes stemware of every conceivable size and shape. He put on a demonstration that I shall never forget and it was a ‘Road to Damascus’ moment for me.

On the Friday evening of the 27th April during the recent Margaret River Wine Festival a small group of Stella Bella fans converged on the Cellar Door to sample cheese from around the world paired with some of Stella Bella’s finest.
