2013 Stella Bella Serie Luminosa Chardonnay

96 Points -  Huon Hooke for SMH & Melbourne Age June 2016

" Light to medium yellow hue and a gentle matchstick aroma, mingled with restrained fruit. It's delicate and refined on the tongue, with an array of complexities which include grapefruit, lemon, subtle spices and fresh cashew, the smoky matchstick character is subtle. It's all beautifully balanced. The aftertaste is long and harmonious. A smashing chardonnay."

95 Points - Gary Walsh for The Wine Front February 2016

"Pleasant amount of struck match, lime, cashew, maybe nashi pear or similar. It’s light, with a slippery glycerol feel, lovely clean acidity that presents just a little tweak and mineral edge, but stays subdued and calming – like a light spring shower on a warm day. There’s a little spicy smoky oak, and a flinty almost (youthful) candied fruit finish of excellent length and definition. Beautiful wine. Can drink now too. Easily."

95 Points - Mike Bennie for WBM May 2016

"It's a Chardonnay in the leaner, more 'mineral-driven' ilk of Chardonnay wines with green apple, slate, flint and lemony tang to the fore. Bouquet and palate match well in this regard, and the wine holds a compact, racy shape as it races through the mouth. It's austere, but grape flavour peers through. Impressive wine."
